About Samantha

Samantha ZeRuth, or Ms. Sam as some student’s call her, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English Secondary Education from East Stroudsburg University (ESU). During her tenure at ESU, she was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi (International Education Honor Society) and Sigma Tau Delta (International English Honor Society).

“I’m excited to be a part of Summit School of the Poconos because everyone here works together to make great things happen for students. Students are able to make critical choices for themselves and are provided a voice in their learning,” says Sam.

In addition to her faculty role at Summit School, Sam is a Writing Tutor for high school students in Bangor. She also coaches middle and high school girls softball in Upper Mount Bethel Township.

In her free time, Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an avid movie watcher of all genres. She and her boyfriend especially enjoy travel to the beaches of Maryland, Florida, and Punta Cana. She currently resides in Bangor, her native hometown.
