Jessica Steirer graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and currently attends East Stroudsburg University part time, where she is pursuing a Master of Education in Special Education. She has experience teaching students in preschool through sixth grade and has also worked as a Special Instructor, supporting the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children, ages three years and younger.
Jessica has experience teaching all core subjects to students in grades K-12 in both suburban and urban school districts. Having taught at both traditional and charter schools, Jessica recognizes the benefits of project-based learning and is excited to be a part of the SSP staff. “It’s my aspiration to combine my range of experience with my abilities to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will strive to make a positive contribution to the entire community of SSP,” says Jessica.
Jessica grew up in the Greater Chester County area of Pennsylvania and now resides in the Poconos with her husband and their son, Hunter. She enjoys spending time outdoors and creating DIY projects at home.
