Jen Horsey holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Family and Child Studies Concentration from Montclair State University in NJ. She is also currently enrolled in a Teacher of Students with Disabilities graduate program at Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ.
“I absolutely love helping students learn through creative projects and watching them aspire to be the best members of our community that they can be,” says Jen of her work at Summit School.
An educator since 2011, Jen brings a broad scope of experience to her classroom. She also maintains a professional membership with the following: Alpha Lambda Delta (Freshman Academic Honor Society), Sigma Alpha Lambda (National Leadership and Honors Organization), Kappa Omicron Nu (Family and Child Studies National Honor Society), Phi Kappa Phi (National Honor Society), National Association of Beginning Teachers, and National Council of Teachers of English.
Jen volunteers as a Summer Camp Business Manager for Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey. She is a certified Emergency Medical Technician in New Jersey and a Blairstown Ambulance Corps Volunteer as well as a volunteer for and President of North Warren Medical Services.
In her free time, Jen enjoys reading, skiing, and travel with her family. She and her husband, Paul, live in Blairstown, NJ with their children, Derek and Sadie.
