Diana Mai joins Summit School of the Poconos as the Education Director with the mission to further advance the school’s mission for an exceptional 21st Century education.
Diana Mai holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton and a Juris Doctorate degree from the Temple University School of Law.
Although Diana started her career as an attorney focused on Education Law, she soon realized
she was destined to be an educator herself. As a veteran teacher of 16 years, Diana has focused her instructional career on finding innovative instructional methods to meet the needs of all her students, including many with special needs and emotional challenges.
As an educational leader, Diana prides herself on her mentoring and coaching abilities, as well as providing quality professional development and goal setting for staff. Diana says, “It is my responsibility to lead by example and to ensure that my school is a better place because I am there. The best way to achieve my leadership goals is to help students and staff achieve their own goals. We all rise together.”
In her spare time, Diana loves to read, cook, and travel with her husband and two amazing daughters. A native of the greater Pocono area, Diana also enjoys exploring the natural wonders close to home.
